Hi, I’m Nick, a certified clinical hypnotherapist and a life coach. My mission is to help people unleash their full potentials and overcome the limitation in their mind. Everyone faces challenges and uncertainties everyday. When these become overwhelming, it is normal for most people to feel stressed. It gives us a sense of urgency to act. This mechanism is in fact wired in our brain. Its purpose is to help us face life threatening danger and help us survive.

However, prolonged excessive stress causes anxiety which in turns develops into anxiety disorder which is an mental illness if not managed. How do you know if you or anyone you know are suffering from anxiety disorder?

To find out, these are the 10 signs or symptoms to look out for:

1. Increased heart rate

Your heart beats more rapidly and more forcefully when you feel anxious.

Your palms and other body parts sweat even in low temperature.

When one is anxious, it is almost impossible for one to concentrate on other matters. The mind is so occupied with thoughts of the concerning matter

Even if the concerning matter is trivial, a person with anxiety can feel as if it was the end of the world.
